Kärcher BR 40/10 C Adv Compact Floor Scrubber – 16-Inch, Corded

The Kärcher BR 40/10 C Adv is a compact commercial floor scrubber that washes and recovers dirty water in a single pass. Its two counter-rotating roller brushes provide a 400 mm—or approximately 16-inch—cleaning path, making the machine well suited for smaller commercial spaces, congested areas and locations where a full-size walk-behind scrubber would be difficult to manoeuvre.

Separate 10-litre clean-water and recovery tanks keep fresh cleaning solution isolated from collected wastewater. The machine can clean up to 300 m² per hour under practical operating conditions, helping commercial cleaning teams maintain hard floors more efficiently than manual mopping.

Dual-Roller Scrubbing and Water Recovery

Two high-speed roller brushes rotate at 650 RPM with adjustable contact pressure. The brushes agitate the floor and help remove soil from smooth or lightly textured hard surfaces.

Straight squeegees collect dirty water when the scrubber moves either forward or backward. This bidirectional recovery allows the operator to clean efficiently in tight spaces and leaves substantially less water behind than traditional mopping.

The standard red medium-duty roller brushes are designed for general maintenance cleaning. Optional brushes and roller pads are available separately for delicate floors, textured surfaces, deep cleaning, polishing and stripping applications.

Compact Design for Tight Commercial Spaces

The folding handle allows the scrubber to reach under tables, furniture and other low objects. For areas with especially limited clearance, the tank assembly can also be removed.

The Advance version includes transport wheels and adjustable brush pressure. The wheels make it easier to move the machine between cleaning areas without operating the brushes, while variable pressure allows the operator to adjust the scrubbing action for the floor and level of soil.

The brushes and squeegees can be removed without tools, simplifying routine cleaning and replacement. The removable water-distribution bar is also easy to access when inspection or cleaning is required.

What’s Included

A suitable low-foaming floor-cleaning detergent is required for chemical cleaning and is sold separately. Different brushes or roller pads may also be required for delicate flooring, deep cleaning, polishing, stripping or heavily textured surfaces.
