This kit includes 56 bags of Firestorm Intense Ice Melter, a yellow salt and sand storage container, and a 2 L scoop. Each bag contains 20 kg (44 lb) of ice melter.

Firestorm uses an FS2000 coating to support melting and help reduce refreezing. Current Sylvite product information rates the ice melter down to -35°C. Follow the directions and surface restrictions on the supplied bags when treating outdoor areas.
The yellow bin has a 4.24 cu. ft. capacity and is made from BPA-free, UV-resistant polyethylene. Its waterproof construction helps protect stored material from weather, and the hasp allows the lid to be secured. Built-in forklift pockets provide a way to move the container without emptying it. The storage capacity is separate from the 56-bag supply included with this kit.
The included polyethylene scoop holds 2 L and is suitable for salt, sand and ice melter. It lets operators transfer material from storage to the area being treated.
