Its capacity is 20 litre (5 gallon) which is the right size to clean large offices. The SL-5 Vacuum cleaner body is 1/4″ thick polyethylene while the top is chrome plated steel.
SL-5 Vacuum cleaner is built to withstand the most rigorous use. Machines made in 1970 are still in use. The long life expectancy is due to the fact that they are using metal parts instead of plastic. Case in point, the motor housing, casters, intake nozzle and latches. All of these are made from metal which will last many times longer than plastic.
The Centaur SL-5 Vacuum cleaner is portable. It rolls easy on the carpet. It has four steel base, double ball bearing casters. Yes, that’s right, double ball-bearing casters with expensive and durable urethane balls. We challenge you to find another vacuum cleaner that has these type of casters. These metal casters will take the daily abuse, while the plastic casters won’t. They will last and last for a long time – 20 years from now it will still roll easily. The HEPA filter that comes with the vacuum traps 99.97% of dirt and allergens.
