The Atrix Omega HEPA Abatement Vacuum is a portable dry specialty vacuum for professional work where fine-particulate filtration and contained collection matter. Its 1-US-gallon (3.8 L) collection capacity, 99 CFM airflow and self-contained HEPA cartridge provide a compact option for mobile technicians, maintenance teams and specialist cleanup crews. This is the 120V North American configuration, supplied with its hose, cleaning tools, filter cartridge and detachable power cord.
The included OF612HE filter cartridge is rated at 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 micron. Its 56-pleat media has three layers: cellulose, high-performance glass silicate and polyester. The cartridge collects dry particulate inside a contained housing, and supplied plugs close the filter and hose openings for handling and storage.
Before removing a used cartridge, follow Atrix’s filter-change procedure, including inserting the filter plug. Dispose of the cartridge according to the requirements for the material collected. Do not operate the vacuum without its filter.
The toolbox-style housing keeps the hose and tools in the lid storage area, helping mobile users keep the accessories with the vacuum between work areas. An adjustable shoulder strap is included. The 5.6 ft. clear hose, flexible gooseneck tool, crevice tool and utility nozzle provide different ways to reach the work surface without needing to purchase the basic attachment set separately.
A 628W Ametek Advantek II motor supplies the published 99 CFM airflow. The detachable 10 ft. power cord connects to a properly grounded outlet. A resettable thermal cutout stops the vacuum if it overheats; follow the manual to check for a blocked hose or a filter requiring replacement before resuming work. Keep the lid fully closed and secured during operation.
Atrix lists this model for dry-particulate work involving lead dust in renovation, repair and painting, silica dust, fiberglass, mold remediation, core sampling and laboratory work. Select the equipment, filter and work procedures for the specific material and site requirements before use.
The HEPA efficiency rating describes filter performance; it does not by itself establish whole-vacuum certification or approval for a regulated remediation job. Do not treat this unit as universally suitable for hazardous or combustible materials.
